What is the Green Mortgage?

A mortgage solution that allows you to save on your monthly fee and save the environment at the same time.

The Green Mortgage promotes the purchase of homes with certified energy efficiency, as well as the transfer of credit associated with this type of property, offering special conditions for properties with an Energy Efficiency Certificate equal to or higher than "A" for new properties; and equal to or higher than "B-" for used properties.

Who can apply for the Green Mortgage?

New or existing customers, resident or non-resident, of Portuguese or foreign nationality, who want credit for a house purchase or its transfer.
Available for Second Home and Buy-to-Let home, being exclusive for new mortgage contracts.

What conditions must be met to benefit from this mortgage?

- Newly built home presenting Energy Efficiency Certificate >= A
- Used home presenting Energy Efficiency Certificate >= B-

What will you benefit?

- Reduction of 0.10% on the fixed interest rate, with a term equal to or greater than 10 years.

Annual percentage rate of charge of 5,2% with fixed base annual nominal interest rate of 3,85% and variable annual nominal interest rate of 5,280% with base spread of 1,60%, average annual life insurance premium of €253,79, 120 installments of €779,38 and 180 installments of €857,37, and MTIC of €265.481,86.
